Mr. Darren Lucas

Mr. Darren Lucas joined the staff at Pleasant Plains High School as a full-time counselor in the fall of 2013. Before coming to PPHS, Mr. Lucas worked as a Resource Aide and Substitute Teacher at Pleasant Plains Middle School. He is a graduate of Webber International College with his Bachelors, and earned his Masters in Counseling at the University of Illinois Springfield. Mr. Lucas is excited to be a part of the PPHS family and enjoys working with the students and families in this district. Mrs. Emily Schaefer

Mrs. Emily Schaefer joined the staff at Pleasant Plains High School as a full-time counselor in the fall of 2017. Before coming to PPHS, Mrs. Schaefer was working as a full-time counselor in another high school. She has her Bachelors in Social Work and has also earned her Masters in Counseling, specializing in School Counseling.
