Memorial Hands-On Healthcare

Hands-On Healthcare is open to high school and college students, community members, and Memorial employees who are interested in learning more about healthcare careers. Sessions occur monthly in partnership with SIU School of Medicine and are designed to allow participants the opportunity to engage with current healthcare professionals in interactive settings. Each session will take participants through various stations in a specific healthcare field to get a better feel for the responsibilities associated with each department, as well as the education and training needed for that particular career.

Occupational Outlook Handbook

O*NET

The O*NET program is the nation's primary source of occupational information. Central to the project is the O*NET database, containing information on hundreds of standardized and occupation-specific descriptors. The database is continually updated by surveying a broad range of workers from each occupation.

This site provides Illinois specific job market information including historical data and future projections. Career guidance is also afforded with Career Information System (CIS) & I*Compass.
