D.A.R.E. Graduates!
We finished up another set of D.A.R.E. courses at Pfeiffer Intermediate School and St. Joan of Arc! The student's did a great job and we had fun celebrating!

Thank you to Mrs. Ledoux and Mrs. Pritt's Community 6.5 for their October Kindness Challenge at Pfeiffer Intermediate. The students of Community 6.5 decided to thank the Perry Township Police Department and Perry Township Fire Department for their commitment to Perry Township and it's residents. The students created banners for each department, thank you cards and even brought in snacks for everyone to enjoy during this ceremony. It was so very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Thank Mrs. Ledoux and Mrs. Pritt for giving the students time to complete all of these lovely things and host this ceremony!

St. Joan of Arc
I was so happy to be a part of St. Joan of Arc's Start with Hello week! I was invited to do some activities to show how important it is to come together as a community to look out for one another and help each other. With the 7th and 8th Graders we decorated place mats for the Refuge of Hope. We decorated them with inspiring messages and beautiful pictures. The 6th Grade class decorated a cutout of their hand to show their own personalities. We then put all these together to create a beautiful piece of artwork for the school! Even though we are all different we can still come together to make our school and community a safe place and be there for one another.
It is so important to reach out to others and offer a word of encouragement or smile. You never know who needs it! Start with Hello!

We recently had another D.A.R.E. graduation ceremony to celebrate over at Pfeiffer Intermediate School! This group of students worked very hard over the past several weeks and deserve to wear their shirts proud!
