Officer Blanc shared with the 3rd grade students across the district just how important it is to wear a seat belt. She had the help of Brutus to inform us when it's ok to get out of a booster seat!

Officer Blanc talked to 3rd Graders about seat belt safety! This is part of her monthly lessons with them. They took a pledge with her to always wear their seat belts and to encourage others to wear theirs! Way to Go 3rd Graders!
I had so much fun at the Watson Elementary Glow night! I saw so many awesome costumes! Great job to the Edison Middle Schoolers that volunteered time and helped out with all the fun game stations! It was a beautiful fall evening with a fun time had by all that attended!
We had fun at Safety Town! The kids had so much fun learning about animal safety, fire safety, stranger danger, gun safety, and water safety! They also got to check out a police car up close and personal! Thank you to all our guests that presented and made this possible for the kids!

This month with all 3rd Grade classes Officer Blanc is talking about seat belt safety! At the end of the lesson she asked the students to take a pledge to always wear their seat belts and promise to be good passengers. After taking the pledge the signed off on their pledge cards and are ready to help remind others to wear their seat belts too!
Safety Town is back! Perry Township Police Department is happy to announce that we have brought safety town back to the community. It is so very important to empower and help our youth grow and we had so much fun doing this with our 21-22 Safety Town Students. We covered many topics like: animal safety, stop, drop, and roll, pedestrian safety, stranger danger, bike safety, how to properly wear our bike helmets and so much more! Here is a look at the fun we had! We look forward to doing it again next summer!

As part of the 3rd Grade D.A.R.E. program we talked about the importance of wearing a seat belt. I challenged the students to come up with a billboard to remind people to buckle up. Those entries were submitted to the Stark County Safe Communities Board for judging. You all did a wonderful job promoting seat belt use to help save lives on our roadways! Lily, from Whipple Heights Elementary, was chosen for her wonderful artwork as the #1 winner in all Stark County Schools! Lily's artwork will be displayed throughout Stark County to help remind us to buckle our seat belts. Thank you to all students that participated you did a wonderful job!
As a reward, Whipple Heights Elementary School students who collected the most money during a recent fundraiser, got to dump a bucket of slime on teachers.
We are so thankful for Ms Rohr's 3rd Graders! They took the time to make the Perry Police Department some beautiful cards and also donated all kinds of amazing goodies! Thank you so much for your kindness! The generosity is very much appreciated!

Officer Letta and Officer Blanc have been making their way around the district to talk to all 1st Grade students about gun safety. We share information about what to do if you ever come across a gun.
As part of their kindness week Whipple Kindergarten classes took time to make these AMAZING flags for our Police Department as a thank you for our service! You all did an amazing job and thank you for thinking of us!

Congratulations to all students that participated in the Seat Belt Safety Banner Contest! You all did a wonderful job promoting seat belt use to help save lives on our roadways. We are very pleased to announce that one of our students at Knapp was chosen as the top winner out of all Stark County School Districts. Kaden S. was chosen for his excellent display of artwork to promote wearing a seat belt! He will have his artwork displayed around the county at different events including the Stark County Fair and Hall of Fame events! Thank you to all that participated! Job well done by all!
