The Student Assistance Program (SAP team) is a group of concerned staff who work to help students in need.
Every school in Pennsylvania has a SAP team, and each SAP team member has received special training.
Students can be referred to the team for reasons like behavior concerns, drug and alcohol concerns, or mental health concerns. SAP is not discipline. We are a helping organization and no one gets into trouble for talking to us.
Anyone can refer a student by filling out an online referral form or by contacting a SAP team member or a guidance counselor directly. All information is kept confidential and is kept separate from regular student academic records.
See the "SAP Basics" link in the sidebar for more information. The SAP team is not a counseling organization itself, but we can assist in referring students in need to outside sources of help.
