Primary 2 working hard during numeracy. We have been learning to add and subtract using cubes and number lines to help us.
We use our problem solving cards and our read, write, draw cards to help us subtract.
We used ball pit balls to make our subtraction more exciting!
We also use pegs on a number line to help us count the jumps back.
We were learning to write receipts and to give change.
We have been learning about money and the different coins we can use to buy items in our shop!
We love playing our sound detective game to help us learn our spelling words.
We talked about the different shapes that we could cut our sandwiches into!
Primary 2 enjoying the sandwiches they made using their instructions they had written to help them! Delicious :)
We had our favourite teddy's with us to help us enjoy our sandwiches!
We enjoyed playing with old Victorian toys and discussing how children might have used them in Victorian times.
