2014 intake

Welcome to Primary 7.

Come and see what we have been up to!

Look below at what we got up to in Primary 6!

Science

Woops! I think we enjoy science more than Miss Wade...

In science we have been looking at the effects soap and cleaning products can have on germs. For this experiment we used milk, pepper, food colouring and most importantly soap. We were amazed at the results of this experiment (as you can see above) and it helped us understand the importance of our hygiene!

We have loved science this term and linking it to our learning of the victorian inventors and can't wait to do more!

Primary 6 Athletics Festival!

The girls celebrating their great relay race performance!

Primary 6 had an amazing time at the athletics festival at the Meadow Centre. Even though the compeition was tough, we put up an excellent fight and had fun with all of our friends.

Our primary 6 rugby team!

We braved the cold and soldiered on through injuries... We might not have won but we had a blast!

We travelled to Dumbarton Academy to compete against all of the local schools. After competing in over 10 games we were exhausted!

We have already began working on our tactics for our next rugby experience...

Using our Place Value Wall

Primary 5 have been working on their addition and place value.

Pupils have been using our place value wall.

Also consolidating their knowledge on Sumdog.

Primary 5 have been working on their fitness while learning to measure time in seconds and minutes. They have been using their estimation skills and doing exercise activities against the clock!

Pupils have also been learning to find durations in days and months using a calendar.

Primary 5 had so much fun doing Active Play with pupils from the Lomond Base. They used their teamwork and communication skills throughout the session.
