Our aim as play buddies is to ensure that every child in the playground feels safe and has someone to play with.

We decided to create a calm zone which children may visit to take some time out. We also have 'game of the week' to encourage children who do not have someone to play with to join in with others.

Primary 3 have been working hard within their leadership group called 'Play Buddies'.

We worked together as a class with the help of Mrs Gourlay and Miss Wade to bring the idea together. Some of us even volunteered to present the idea to the rest of the school during assembly!

We were super excited about Santa coming to visit our class!

We enjoyed doing some Christmas arts and crafts to get us in the festive spirit. We also designed our own Christmas jumpers and made some delicious snowmen biscuits.
Santa joined us at our Christmas party to have a little dance and give out some exciting gifts... how lucky are we!!
We loved having the chance to show off our dance moves!
For one whole hour we get our heart rates racing and play together as a class. We use our communication and teamwork skills to enjoy our active time with Rachel and Jay.
We were lucky enough to be chosen to take part in active play every Thursday alongside primary 3/4.

Jessica will be using what we are learning within our class topic 'The Vikings' to create some fantastic routines to further develop or learning.
We will be taking part in dance classes. During our first week we all had a fantastic time showing off our impressive dance moves and listening to some great music!
