Stage 1 – Foundations of Color & Adjustments

Stage 2 – Levels & Curves (Core Correction Skills)

Here students develop the most important professional correction skills.

• Curves vs. Levels (pick one of the two tutorials – same content, different versions).
  
  

Stage 3 – Correcting Skin & Portraits

Now apply adjustment tools to practical scenarios.

• Option A: Remove Redness from Skin (Hue/Saturation)
  
  

• Option B: Color Correct Portraits (Color Balance)
  (Students must complete at least one, but can try both if interested.)
  
  

Stage 4 – Matching Colors Across Images

Learn how to unify colors when combining multiple elements.

1. Color Match Images
   
   

2. Color Match Objects
   (Students can choose one if short on time — they overlap in skill.)
   
   

Stage 5 – Creative Color Transformations

Practice pushing beyond correction into creative edits.

• Change Any Color into a Gradient

• Change the Color of Clothing
  
  

• Change Black to Any Color
  (Students complete at least one of these depending on their interest — fashion, product, or creative poster design.)
  
  

Stage 6 – Extra Skill Builders (Optional)

For students who finish early or want to go further:

• Sharpening Tool (for clarity/finishing touches).
  
  

• New Hue/Saturation Tool (2025) (try out latest features).
  
  

• Combine Photos & Graphics (applies color changes in a design context — also appears in the previous unit, so can be optional here).
