Classroom Expectations :

- Attend class everyday: It is YOUR responsibility to seek work missed at the beginning of the period after absences. Past handouts will be placed in the “FSF1D Photocopies” folders by the door, but will be emptied weekly.

- Come to class prepared: bring homework, materials, paper, pen, texts.

- Courteous behaviour towards peers and teachers, as well as care for the physical classroom.

- To the best of your ability, participate actively in classroom activities.

- Demonstrate academic honesty at all times. Plagiarism is cheating, you know that.

- Missed tests/assignments: You are expected to be present for all tests and presentations.

In case of a justified absence, you are responsible for arranging a time to complete missed work.

Unjustified absences or unreasonably late assignments may result in a mark of zero. Let’s avoid that.

- After the Introductory Unit, French will be the PRIMARY language of communication. Trying ot speak French in class is

the single biggest advantage you can give yourself.

- Ask for help: I’m available after school or at lunch by appointment, please make arrangements in class.
