Please read all registration policies, pricing, and information before proceeding to our registration pages.

Before Registration

Before You Register:

All College Board AP* Summer Institutes use the Cvent registration process. To register, you will be redirected to the Cvent registration site. Prior to registering please be sure all of your information is correct on your College Board professional account, as this will be linked to your APSI registration.

The following information is needed to complete the registration process (either for yourself or a third party):

  • College Board Login
    • Click here to create a College Board Login, if needed.
  • Session selection (See 2020 Session Offerings)
    • Please note some AP sessions are split by participant's years of teaching the specified AP subject; this may be different than totals years of experience teaching. Please register according to the following requirements:
      • New is designed specifically for teachers with 0-3 years of experience teaching the specified AP subject.
      • Experienced requires the participants have taught the specified AP subject for a minimum of 3 years.
  • Meal selection
  • Fee payment
    • Fee payments should be made at the time of registration.
    • Payment options available include credit card, purchase order, or check. Please note, registration will not be confirmed until payment is received.
    • If you are paying via Purchase Order or a District issued check, please contact our office to arrange payment, 702-799-0781 or silverstateap@nv.ccsd.net. All payments should be made to the "Silver State APSI."

All payments and financial settlements are handled by the endorsed APSI. Please submit offline payments of check or Purchase Order directly to the APSI and not the College Board. All questions regarding payments and status of registration must be directed to individual endorsed APSI sites. Please call 702-799-0781 for payment assistance.

2020 Registration Fees

Fees for the institute include:

  • Four days (30 hours) of AP* or Pre-AP* instruction from an endorsed College Board consultant.
  • College Board and consultant-created workshop materials
  • Daily breakfast (continental)
  • Daily lunch (select your meals when you register!)
  • Shuttle transportation to/from host hotel to the Institute Monday through Thursday.
  • Shuttle service to McCarran International Airport at the conclusion of the Institute on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

Participants are responsible for their own lodging arrangements; however, a negotiated a discounted nightly rate at the South Point Hotel and Casino is available, for details please see Travel Information.

Early Bird Discounts are available for participants who register before May 1, 2020!

Nevada Educators are eligible for tuition discounts, please see below for additional information.

All non-Nevada educators are considered Full Tuition Attendees.

Registration Fee

  • Registration fees for 2020 are $875 per teacher.
  • Early bird discounts are available!
    • Register and pay before May 1, 2020, pay only $775!

Payments

  • Fee payments should be made at the time of registration.
  • Payment options available include credit card, purchase order, or check. Please note, registration will not be confirmed until payment is received.
  • If you are paying via Purchase Order or a District issued check, please contact our office to arrange payment, 702-799-0781 or silverstateap@nv.ccsd.net. Payments should be made to "Silver State APSI."

Cancellation & Refund Policy for Full Tuition Attendees

    • Registrants canceling before May 1, 2020, are entitled to a full refund.
    • Registrants canceling before June 26, 2020, are entitled to a 50% refund.
    • Registrants canceling after June 26, 2020 will not receive a refund.
    • Registrants who "no show" are liable for the full payment fee amount and will not receive a refund.

Fees for Nevada Attendees (Reduced Tuition)

All Nevada educators are eligible for Reduced Tuition Fees. Please be sure to indicate such during the registration process.

Registration Fee

Qualifying Nevada teachers will pay a +Reduced Tuition Fee of just $45 per teacher!

  • Early bird discounts are available!
    • Register and pay before May 1, 2020, pay only $35!

+Reduced Fee Tuition is available for Nevada teachers, including public and charter school teachers, who meet the following eligibility requirements:

I. If registering for an AP* Session, the teacher is currently teaching, or will be teaching during the 2020-2021 school year, the selected Advanced Placement course or an equivalent course.

II. The teacher agrees to attend the entire 30 hours of the Institute on the dates July 27-30, 2020.

Cancellation & Refund Policy for Nevada Attendees

    • Due to the demand of Nevada Reduced Tuition Fees and limited seating, there is no refund for a cancellation or no-show.
