New Pre-AP teachers are invited to attend the Pre-AP Summer Institute at LOCATION NAME. The Pre-AP Summer Institute is a four-day in-person collaborative experience that empowers participants to begin to prepare and plan for their Pre-AP course. Teachers explore course materials and experience model lessons from the student’s point of view and build their own course plan, so they are ready on day one of instruction. New Pre-AP leaders are invited to attend the one-day Leadership Workshop that takes place on the last day of the Pre-AP Summer Institute.

Completion of the Pre-AP Summer Institute fulfills the professional learning requirement for new Pre-AP teachers. New Pre-AP leaders can fulfill their professional learning requirement by completing the one-day Leadership Workshop at the Pre-AP Summer Institute.
