Hadrien Juste Rambach (1981-), was born on 11 June 1981, in Paris, France, son of an engineer father, and a scholar mother, Professor of Philosophy at University.
In 1992, at the age of eleven, he began collecting coins – French 1cent at first but soon after Roman denarii, and then – after a few years – antiquarian numismatic books with a special interest for dedication copies.
He graduated the Lycée Buffon in Paris in 1998 (“baccalauréat S”), the Lycée Montaigne in Paris in 2000 (“classe prépa HEC”), and the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce in Grenoble in 2003 (Masters in Business Administration). In 2004, he followed in his mother's footsteps and graduated the Université Paris X – Nanterre, with a Masters in Philosophy and Aesthetics.
From 2003 - 2006, he worked for Spink & Son Ltd. in London, representing the firm at international fairs and auctions, and coordinating the Numismatic Circular, in addition to his day-job as Head of Roman coins for both the retail- and auction-sides of the business.

In 2006, he established his own business in London, which became “HJR Fine Arts sprl” (Brussels – Belgium) in 2015. He acts as a private consultant, advising clients for ancient coins, medals, antiquarian books, and antiquities.
He notably helped form the George La Borde collection of Roman gold coins, which was auctioned by Numismatica Ars Classica in Zurich, auction 91 (May 2016), auction 99 (May 2017) and auction 105 (May 2018).
It is in September 2009, during the XIVth International Numismatic Congress which was held in Glasgow, that he met Arianna D’Ottone, whom he married on 7 January 2015 in New York, during the International Numismatic Convention. A professor of Arabic at Sapienza University, Rome, specialized in numismatics and palaeography, she won in 2018 the Samir Shamma Prize for Islamic Numismatics – awarded by the Royal Numismatic Society.
