CONCERT ATTIRE
The purpose of concert attire is to present a consistent look that will enhance our performance rather than detract from it. Students are responsible for purchasing their own concert attire following the guidelines below. Students not appropriately dressed may receive a concert grade reduction. Students needing help with any part of the costume due to financial issues should see Mr. Hansmeyer or Mr. Eisenbeis.
MIDDLE SCHOOL CHOIRS CONCERT ATTIRE
We have updated our requirements for what to wear for school concerts. The 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Choirs are asked to dress up for the upcoming concert. Please choose an outfit that looks nice and follows our school dress code since you’ll perform on stage. Here’s what we mean:
Do not wear anything too short, too tight, or revealing.
Please avoid jeans, shorts, or leggings made from thin material.
Acceptable options include:
Dress, dress pants, khakis, or leggings (please avoid jeans, shorts, or thin leggings).
Polo shirts, button-down shirts, a nice blouse, or a nice sweater.
Nice/clean-looking dress shoes or athletic shoes that do not have high heels or overly chunky heels (no sandals or flip-flops). Since we stand on risers, heals can make things difficult and can be uncomfortable and unstable.

GENERAL SHOW CHOIR COSTUME INFORMATION FOR ALL SHOW CHOIRS
Each member must purchase their own costume and shoes, etc., and will keep it at the end of each school year. We do our best to keep costs as low as possible. We will size and order all pieces at the beginning of school and bill families before October. Costume fees are generally due by the 3rd week of October.
ATTENTION TENORS AND BASSES: Pants for 68th Street Singers and Gold generally come unhemmed and must be hemmed at home. Tenors and Basses must also purchase and wear their own Black Compression Shorts (tuck or pin your shirt to these so the shirt does not come untucked).
