Middle School Choirs

6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Choirs

The Norris Middle School 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Choirs make up approximately 250 students at Norris Middle School.  The choirs meet every other day.  Developing students’ singing voices, aural skills, music reading skills, performance skills and an interest in choral music  and singing are all important components of the middle school choral program.  Performances for the choirs include a fall and spring concert, middle school music contest, and middle school musical.  The 7th and 8th grade choirs perform a middle school music in May each year.  During the middle school musical, the 8th Grade Choir is assigned all the characters and the 7th Grade Choir serves as the musical chorus.
