CER/Lab Report Format

As a science department, we are focusing on analysis and conclusion writing as well as Claim-Evidence-Reasoning (CER). The documents below include the rubric that is used for analysis and conclusion writing as well as a checklist/tip sheet.

As part of the scientific process, scientists report their findings. For research and career scientists, this may include creating a poster to share at a conference, making a presentation to colleagues during a meeting, or writing a paper for a scientific journal. For student scientists such as yourselves, the common forms of sharing data and studies is to complete an analysis and conclusion or claim-evidence-reasoning sheet.
