To Backstage Parking

Via the New Jersey turnpike (from Philadelphia and Southwestern New Jersey)

Take the New Jersey turnpike Northbound to Exit 15W for Rte. 280 Westbound. Continue on Rte. 280 Westbound to the exit for Rte. 21 Southbound (McCarter Highway). Proceed approximately ¾ mile on McCarter Highway. Pass Lombardy Street and enter right turn only lane. Turn right at second right turn signal, cross light-rail tracks and pull up to the gated entrance to the backstage lot. Press the intercom button to speak with Security and proceed straight ahead to the Security desk to check in.

Via the New Jersey turnpike and Rte. 280 (From NYC via Holland Tunnel)

From the tunnel follow signs for New Jersey Turnpike. Take the New Jersey Turnpike Northbound to Exit 15W for Rte. 280 westbound. Continue on Rte. 280 Westbound to the exit for Rte.21 Southbound (McCarter Highway). Proceed approximately ¾ mile on McCarter Highway. Pass Lombardy Street and enter right turn only lane. Turn right at second right turn signal, cross light-rail tracks and pull up to the gated entrance to the backstage lot. Press the intercom button to speak with Security and proceed straight ahead to the Security desk to check in.

From the tunnel follow signs for New Jersey Turnpike. Take the New Jersey Turnpike Southbound to Exit 15W for Rte. 280 Westbound. Continue on Rte.280 Westbound to exit for Rte. 21 Southbound (McCarter Highway). Proceed approx. ¾ mile on McCarter Highway. Pass Lombardy Street and enter right turn only lane. Turn right at second right turn signal, cross light-rail tracks and pull up to the gated entrance to the backstage lot. Via Garden State Parkway (From Northern New Jersey)

Take Garden State Parkway Southbound to exit 145 to Rte. 280 Eastbound. Stay to the right after toll booths and continue to follow signs onto Rte. 280 East. Take Exit 15 (signposted for Downtown Arts) onto Route 21 Southbound (McCarter Highway). Proceed approx. ¾ mile on McCarter Highway. Pass Lombardy Street and enter right turn only lane. Turn right at second right turn signal, cross light-rail tracks and pull up to the gated entrance to the backstage lot. Press the intercom button to speak with Security and proceed straight ahead to the Security desk to check in.

Via Rte. 80 and Rte. 280 (From Northwestern New Jersey)

Take Rte. 80 Eastbound to Rte. 280 Eastbound. Take Exit 15 (signposted for Downtown Arts) onto Rte 21 Southbound (McCarter Highway). Proceed approx. ¾ mile on McCarter Highway. Pass Lombardy Street and enter right turn only lane. Turn right at second right turn signal, cross light-rail tracks and pull up to the gated entrance to the backstage lot. Press the intercom button to speak with Security and proceed straight ahead to the Security desk to check in.

Via Rte. 78 (from Western New Jersey)

From Rte 78 Eastbound take exit 57 and follow signs for Rtes 1 & 9 and then for Rte 21 Northbound. Continue on Rte. 21 (McCarter Highway) Northbound approximately 2 miles through several lights. Just after traffic signal at Center Street, bear RIGHT at marked U-Turn. Proceed to the traffic signal and turn left onto Rte. 21 Southbound (McCarter Highway) entering right turn only lane. Turn right at second right turn signal, cross light-rail tracks and pull up to the gated entrance to the backstage lot. Press the intercom button to speak with Security and proceed straight ahead to the Security desk to check in.

Driving or Walking from the Hilton Gateway/Newark Penn Station

Exit Newark Penn Station at the Gateway West doors by the information desk and waiting area (near track 5). Facing the Hilton Hotel across the street, make a right on Raymond Plaza West and proceed to traffic light. Make a left onto Raymond Blvd. Proceed two blocks on Raymond Blvd. and turn right onto Mulberry Street (also named Ronald H. Brown Street). Walk 3 blocks, past Seton Hall Law School and several parking lots to Center Street. NJPAC will be directly in front of you. Cross Center Street and proceed to your left and the gray double doors marked “Stage Door” at the end of the NJPAC building. Press the green button to speak with Security and gain access backstage. Once through, proceed down the alleyway to the double glass doors and Security desk on the right to check in.
