Titles

For Spanish Book Titles (& other foreign languages), please see the information below.

Your first stop should be the New Hanover County Public Library.

CLASSProject is a wonderful resources!

Go to the Media Center Page on our School Website and access CLASSProject https://sites.google.com/a/nhcs.net/susanjordan/public-library


From there you can access Getting Started and then select Elementary School.

The first item you might want to look at is: Tumble Books.

From School, ask your classroom teacher or Media Specialist for the username/password.

From home, the library Card # is the Student's ID (Lunch #) Pin is always the last four digits.

From that menu, select Spanish


Also in CLASSProject is NC Kids Digital Library

Again, use Student's ID (Lunch #)

Go to the bottom of the page on the right and Spanish can be selected. Within Collections there are Spanish titles.


Tutor.com also has Spanish speaking tutors available at specific hours through the day.

REMEMBER: where library card is wanted use STUDENT ID; the PIN Is the LAST FOUR DIGITS OF THE ID. YOU CAN ALSO USE THIS INFORMATION USING YOUR ID AND LAST FOUR FOR A PIN.


NC WiseOwl http://www.ncwiseowl.org has Encyclopedia Britannica in a multitude of different languages to include Spanish.


EPIC is another great resource for books in Spanish. https://www.getepic.com You need to set up an account for student use. Very easy to use.


And, The International Children's Digital Library http://en.childrenslibrary.org is a resource you might want to check out. I also has a multitude of languages available for your selection.
