Green Arts Mastery Show and Spring Pops Concert
Thursday, May 25
Green Arts Mastery Show in MEAC Lobby at 5PM
Ms. Patterson, Mr. Novello and Mr. Meador would love your support at their Spring Show! View and purchase lots of amazing items their students have made throughout the year!
Ms. Guenther's 6th grade singers will be performing their individually selected songs during the show.
Chorus Concert in MEAC at 6:45PM (or 7-ish)
Ms. Guenther's 6th, 7th, and 8th grade singers will be performing some of their favorites. Please join us for an awesome evening of music! We'd love to see you there!
This concert will run close to 1.5 - 2 hours. Every singer deserves an audience!
I do expect all of my students to stay for the duration of the concert.
When should I be at school?
6th grade individual performers - 4:45 for the GAM show
6th grade concert performers - 6:35 seated in assigned MEAC seats
7th grade concert performers - 6:35 seated in assigned MEAC seats
8th grade concert performers - 6:35 seated in assigned MEAC seats
Note: if you are staying after school for the show/ performance please make sure to bring a dinner with you so you have energy for the concert.
What should I wear?
For ladies, the dress is church-like/ springy/ summer/ colorful but tasteful. So dress pants with a nice blouse, or a skirt (proper length) and blouse, or summer dress (proper length) with sandals (with back strap) or dress shoes. Black is fine but since we do that for the winter concert and that is a more formal event, I'd like to keep this one fun and colorful.
For men, khakis and a polo or button up dress shirt (sleeves rolled to 3/4 or 1/2 is fine) and dress shoes. If you only have dress pants from the concert, those are fine to wear.
No shorts, please.

Murray MS Dinner Theater
The evening of April 6, 2017 at 5:30 will include performances from Jazz Band, Orchestra,
Chorus (Mastery +), our Spring Musical, art from students and more! Secure your tickets as soon as you are able for dinner and dessert or just dessert or just to see performances. There will also be a drawing for raffle baskets right after dinner. Seating for the event begins at 5:30. Catering provided by Middle of the Island. Pick up a ticket order form in the front office.

AHS Fall Concert October, 18 @ 5:30PM in MEAC
7TH GRADE CHORUS
7-1 and 7-2 were fortunate enough to watch Mrs. Sugerik's Eagle ensemble use breathing techniques to understand breath support. No napping in that ensemble!
8TH GRADE CHORUS
Select 8th grade students performed at All County Chorus, October, 15, 2017. I am extremely proud of these ladies and of all their hard work! Their dedication to music is absolutely outstanding! I cannot wait to see where music takes them! Thank you for the music, ladies <3 G
Working hard on our songs for our Winter Concert!
Learning solfege hand signs and applying solfege syllables in our music to understand key harmonies.
8th grade was fortunate enough to watch a mostly 9th grade ensemble at AHS prepare for their concert! How awesome it was to see the 2015-2016 8th graders up on stage performing such difficult harmonies! Way to go, 9th graders! So incredibly happy for you and proud of what you've accomplished in such a short amount of time! Shout-out to my former students and soloists: Matthew and Ais!
