Lexile Level Resources

Lexile Levels are standardized measures of text complexity used to help students and teachers select books, articles and stories

at the appropriate reading level.

Based on vocabulary and grammatical complexity this measure is a helpful tool.

The Lexile Level is a general guideline. Sometimes plot sequence, concepts in literary themes and non-fiction can exceed the lexile level of a text.
