Spanish I is a two-semester elective. This course serves as an introduction to the basic skills of Spanish language communication in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The study of Spanish culture is integrated into the daily lessons.
Spanish II 6013 1.0 credit
Spanish II is a two-semester elective. This course builds upon the basics of the Spanish language and culture learned in Spanish I. Students continue to enhance their proficiency through vocabulary and grammar study and Spanish conversation. Satisfactory completion of Spanish I is a prerequisite.
Spanish III 6015 1.0 credit
Spanish III is a two-semester elective which reviews and expands the grammar and vocabulary needed to communicate in the Spanish language. Cultural studies are continued. In addition, students read literary selections in Spanish. Satisfactory completion of Spanish II is a prerequisite.
Spanish IV 6017 1.0 credit
Spanish IV is a two-semester elective which reviews and expands the grammar and vocabulary needed to communicate in the Spanish language. Cultural studies are continued. In addition, students read literary selections in Spanish. Satisfactory completion of Spanish III is a prerequisite.
Latin I-IV and German I-IV 1.0 credit each
The Latin and German courses are offered through Amazing Grace Virtual Academy. Â Students in these courses are assigned a class period in a classroom that an instructor supervises.
