Tutoring
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica offers tutoring for students taking Spanish in our district. The tutoring is free and typically assigned by availability of the tutor and the student requesting tutoring.

Tips for SHH tutors:
Always make sure that you have a school employee observe any tutoring done in person. Speak with the employee prior to the session, so that the designated person knows they will be observing the session. Stay 6 feet apart or request to use a plexi-glass shield in a classroom.
See if the student has a specific assignment or topic that he or she wants to review. Working on an assignment together can give you insight as to what the student needs help with. Be sure to not just "give" the student the answers, but to coach him or her on how to find or get the answer. Share any tips or ideas that you have to memorize, study or practice a skill.
