Miracle Minute

November 5, 2014

On the morning of Oct. 7, nine students got together with their advisor, Lynn Costello, to plan for this year’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) organization.

FBLA consists of 124 Masuk High School students. This year, the organization’s officers include president Bianca D’Agostino; co-vice presidents Marisa Lello and Matt Sokal; co-secretaries Kayla Wallet and Catherine Klein; co-treasurers Dylan Condon and Lavina Lim; reporter Shauneen O’Neill and historian Alyssa Bartlett.

The officers will develop ideas to help students get involved with their community and increase awareness of the world around them. One of FBLA’s first project involves running a Miracle Minute to help aid a fund-raiser for an emergency animal hospital in Shelton. Members hope to conduct similar events throughout the school year.
