Paul is entering his 13th season as Monmouth Regional High School's Head Baseball Coach and 23rd year as a Health and Physical Education Teacher. Paul is happily married to Kristen and they have a daughter Kayla and a son Paul Jr.. They currently reside in Middlesex County, NJ. Paul has a Bachelors Degree in Health and Physical Education from Kean University and also has a Master's Degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine.
Baseball has been a huge part of Paul's life as his passion and dedication have carried on to his success both as a player and as a coach. Paul was a Team Captain as well as an All State, All County, All Area Baseball Player at Somerville High School in Somerville N.J. He is the only player to pitch a Perfect Game in School history. In 2006, he was inducted into the Somerville High School Athletic Hall of Fame for Baseball. Paul played College Baseball at Middlesex County College in Edison, NJ where he was team Captain and was named to the All Conference, All Mid Atlantic, and All American Team while sporting the 4th highest batting avg. in the Country at .540. He transferred to Kean University in Union, NJ where he played for two seasons under current Head Coach Neil Ioveiro. He was again team Captain his Senior Year and was named All NJAC, All Region and All State in his career. He is currently second all time in Career Batting Avg. at Kean University where he holds a .415 avg. Paul was invited to participate in major league try outs and had an opportunity to play independent baseball but chose to pursue his long time passion of becoming a teacher and baseball coach .
As a Coach, in 2001 he was the Bloomfield College Assistant Baseball Coach a Division II program NAIA in Bloomfield NJ. From 2002-2023 Coach Crivello has been a part of the rich Monmouth Falcon Tradition. He was an Assistant Coach for the Falcons for 10 seasons. Nine of them served as the Head JV Coach. As an Assistant coach Paul was part of a program that has won the Umpire Sportsmanship Award 5 times in 10 years- This award is presented to the entire program for displaying excellent Character and Discipline through out the season. In 2005,Monmouth Won the Group 3 State Sectional Title and also Won Overall Group 3 State Championship for first time in School History. Monmouth was Ranked #4 in the State, and #1 in Asbury Park Press top 10. In 2013, Monmouth just won the Central Jersey Group II State Title. In the Summer, Paul volunteered and coached the American Legion Team for seven seasons. In 2007, they won the Monmouth County League Championship while going undefeated 17-0. Competed against college players in the State Tournament in Ewing Twp. Finished top 4 in the District.In 2012 Paul was voted the Assistant Baseball Coach of the Year for Monmouth County by the Shore Baseball Coaches Association! In 2015 Paul guided the Falcons to their first Division Championship since 2003 in just his second season as the Head Coach. In 2017 Coach Crivello once again led the Falcons to a Division Championship by claiming the B North Title which was arguably the toughest division in the shore. It was their first outright division title since 1996. In 2025 Coach Crivello led the Falcons to the MCT Ted Jarmusz Bracket Championship by defeating Middletown South 3-1 in the Final. He was named Shore Baseball Coaches Association B North Coach of the Year" in 2017.

Skylar Marvin returns to Monmouth Regional High School as Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach with relentless energy, intensity, and a passion for daily growth. A proud Falcon alumnus (2012–2016), Marvin played under Head Coach Paul Crivello and now has the opportunity to coach alongside him — a full-circle moment rooted in loyalty, respect, and tradition.
Before attending Monmouth Regional, Marvin was a student-athlete at Memorial Middle School in Eatontown (2009–2012), making his journey through the local athletic pipeline a reflection of his deep connection to the community he now serves.
Following high school, Marvin continued his playing career at Union County College (2016–2018), competing at the junior college level where he developed the toughness, discipline, and competitive edge that define his coaching philosophy.
Since 2020, Marvin has served as Assistant Baseball Coach at Memorial Middle School, where he also teaches Physical Education. In addition, he currently serves as Head Coach of Boys Soccer and Head Coach of Wrestling at Memorial. During the 2021–2022 winter season, he returned to Monmouth Regional as Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach, further strengthening his ties to the Falcons athletic program.
Marvin is known for his high energy, demanding standards, and unwavering commitment to excellence. His philosophy centers on the “Win the Day” mindset — the belief that success is built through accountability, preparation, and relentless attention to detail. He challenges his athletes to compete with purpose, embrace adversity, and maximize every opportunity.
His mission is simple: develop disciplined, resilient young men who compete the right way and represent Monmouth Regional with pride. A proud father to his two-year-old son, Alexander Joseph Marvin, Skylar brings perspective, passion, and purpose to the Falcons program — committed to making a lasting impact on every athlete he coaches.
Rob Merola
Freshman Head Coach/ Asst. Varsity Coach

Bob has been a part of the Monmouth Regional Baseball Program for over 20 years. He was the Head Football Coach here for many years and is currently the Head Bowling Coach and the President of the Monmouth Regional Education Association. In baseball, Bob guided the Falcons to a championship in the Freshman Tournament in 2003 going undefeated. He has also been a part of numerous Championships as an Assistant Coach. Bob has been a really big part of player development in our program. He is also the Head Chairman of the Shore Classic Freshman Baseball Tournament. This is one of the most prestigious Freshman Tournaments in the Shore.
