Students were able to sample Native American fare that families donated. These authentic recipes that the Eastern Woodland Indians created included corn, beans and squash, also known as, "The Three Sisters."

Native American Crafts

Children were able to replicate crafts that the Iroquois used to create using many elements from nature including shells, beads, and corn.

Authentic Native American Artifacts

Families donated authentic artifacts to examine.

Authentic Native American Stories

In the Iroquois culture, stories were passed down from generation to generation and often explained why things happened in nature. For several weeks, children created their own Native American Legends to share around the fire.
