Google Apps Unlimited Cloud Storage Upgrade

UPDATE 11/6/2014: All district Google Apps accounts have been updated.

Google Apps for Education has announced that they will be offering educational customers (that's us!) unlimited cloud storage for Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Sites. We currently have 30 GB of cloud storage per account but some teachers have already reached this limit. The upgrade is expected to occur before the end of the calendar year.

In addition to being able to store more in your Google Drive and on your website you will be able to upload larger files as well (up to 5 TB). It is recommended that you take advantage of the upgrade in your cloud storage and store your files in the cloud instead of your Documents folder. All your files will be available to you outside of school and you can easily share them with other people if you wish. You can also use your Google Drive to back up school files from your computer for safekeeping.

To view your current cloud storage use or to see if Google has updated your account to unlimited cloud storage, look at the bottom of your email screen for your storage information.
