MOAB
MANAGEMENT OF AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR
Middlesex Health is committed to providing an environment that is safe, secure and free of harassment, threats, intimidation and violence for our employees, patients and visitors.
MOAB's goal is to teach participants how to protect themselves from injury, and at the same time, control individuals without causing them harm. This program is based on sound principles and empower people with the necessary skills to avert conflict and injuries through various de-escalation techniques.
Depending on your role, you will be assigned either “MOAB Advanced 4 Hour”, “MOAB Standard 2 Hour”, or "MOAB 1 or 2 Day Certification/Recertification" in HealthStream. This is live, hand-on training. Sign into HealthStream and register for your class.
To obtain CE credit for this training, you must complete the MOAB Evaluation at the end of class.
MOAB training is good for 2 years.
