Class Goals

I have high expectations for all students in my class and I believe all my students will succeed this year and beyond. In the science classroom, I expect my students to:

•Ask Questions & Investigate!

•Understand Current Research In Many Fields

•Build Skills In Communication and Background Research

•Create Original Scientific Questions and Test Them Out!

Science Skills

Students will be uncovering each unit’s content material by building skills in: observation, background research, designing & conducting tests, analyzing and communicating results.

Students will also connect to current science each unit by researching relevant studies from the world of science and designing their own unique test questions.

Students at the end of the year will take their accumulated knowledge to design a unique research question and test it through a final end of year science fair project. - Student research even has the chance to be published through a Harvard affiliate and presented at the MIT campus!
