Remote Learning Expectations:
Remote Learning Expectations:
- Students will attend each live session w/ video on (if possible) & mics off to start
- Students will not share screens (unless asked), post / write on the screen, or use the chat box feature to share outside / inappropriate links or comments
- Students will use the microphone to talk, raise hand feature, chat box, reaction emojis, etc… to demonstrate their participation in the class.
- Students will appropriately use video to participate and adjust as needed to limit interruptions, distractions, or outside influences

- If students choose not to participate in some capacity (not required to verbally answer, but should use chat / other features), this can affect student's participation grade.
- If students choose to act inappropriately or not meet expectations they will face the following consequences:
- 1st: verbal warning & participation mark down
- 2nd: removal from live session & participation mark down
- Required meeting w/ Mr. P to address the issue (see document below)
- 3rd: Phone call home to discuss issue w/ student & notification of administration
Note: consequences may not progress from 1 - 3 depending on circumstances.

In order for all to be respected and be part of a positive learning environment that encourages questions, group work, and solving problems, students will build a "class constitution" that is built around these 4 pillars.
Students will create the constitution themselves and will therefore feel further invested in the process of creating and maintaining a positive learning environment.
If students choose to break a class rule, there are consequences for the action. These consequences include:
- Verbal / non-verbal cues to adjust behavior
- Meeting with Mr. Prileson to resolve the issue through discussion and completing a behavior plan (see attached below)
- Phone call home to discuss issue with parents and discussion with administration to resolve issue.
