In this course, students will do science. This means that students will practice and be able to attain key skills necessary in scientific fields including:

- Observation

- Research

- Experimental Design

- Data Analysis

- Communication

To practice and show their level of attainment, students will be assessed through multiple avenues including through laboratory activities and project, unit quizzes and tests, class discussions, and a year-long science fair research project.
