A little about me
Minooka has been good to both me and my family. We are happy to call this community home. I'm a small-town guy, and the closeness of this area makes it a great place to raise kids.
After a short career in journalism, I went back to college to earn my teaching degree. My first teaching job was at MCHS in 2001, and I have been here ever since. Minooka is blessed with outstanding teachers, tremendous coaches & advisers, and an incredibly supportive community.
These days, I try and do my part with some of my passions — social studies, journalism, and track & field. I sometimes call it reading, writing, and running. In the past, I've gotten my hands dirty coaching cross country and advising the yearbook. I'm proud to have been a part of all these programs.
If you ever have any questions, concerns, suggestions, or funny stories, I'd love to hear them. Fire away at mthomas@mchs.net.
