Magazine Assignment

You will be creating a magazine. Your magazine must include:

*a clever, creative title for the magazine

*a cover

*an introduction page to the magazine (what do you want an anonymous reader to know about you? What don't you have in common with everyone else in this room?

*a table of contents

*nine original pieces written by you

The pieces MUST include:

*a five paragraph essay (may be one you have already written or you may write an original).

*a short story (may be one you have already written or you may write an original).

*one research piece

The pieces you may include:

*poetry

*a list (one only, such as a top ten list, or a best books ever list, ect.)

*a puzzle (one only)

*movie/book/music review

*sports articles

*family memories

*graphics/drawings

*cartoon (one only)

*Dear Abby column

*My Life -Then

*My Life - Now

*My Life - I wish

Fonts can be decorative, but must be readable.

This magazine should represent you as a person, your interests and style of writing.

You should have a mix of different types of writing, including both fiction and nonfiction.
