Psychology CP Period 4

B208 Autumn 2022

PSYCHOLOGY!

Welcome to Mr. De Kleine's Psychology Page. As with other courses, each year I strive to evolve and turn this course into a 21st Century Course. Think of it as evergreen - alive and evolving to incorporate the personalities and minds of the students involved.

The lessons presented will focus on students creating, researching, and solving issues from various psychological points of view. There will be times when power points are utilized in the course to set up an assignment, but the majority of the knowledge will be created and hopefully acquired by the student. I look forward to continually enhancing this course throughout the school year and adding to the materials I have already collected for this course.

I do want to state that the course and lessons that are included require you, the student, to think critically about yourself, the world around you, and how you fit into that world. Belief systems will be challenged - in some cases, they may be strengthened, in others, new light may be shed so you can see the world in a much bigger view. Each lesson, as it is crafted, builds upon one another - so understanding the materials as we go through them and continually utilizing them in the course is necessary.

Psychology CP with Mr. De Kleine is a Concurrent Course with Sussex County Community College

You can get 3 college credits with SCCC if you register with them and let them know you are taking this class.

That is 3 credits ahead of your first year of college - actual credits that are accepted at many colleges around the county.

Do yourself a favor and check it out!
