Rock Creek is the historical epicenter of a wide range of forest and game management activities within the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests.  The article discusses the significance of the area and the contributions of Ranger Arthur Woody. Woody and Rock Creek are the “who and where” of how the wildlife management area system got its start not only here, but on a national basis.
