Purpose of the Course: To allow students to earn high school credit why gaining valuable job experience in particular area of job market. Students will be allowed to leave school early to work with permission from their home school.
Course Description:
LCHS Students: Work Place Experience is a 1 or 2 year class where junior or senior students can earn their Consumer Education Credit while sharing their work place happenings. Student get to explore various types careers and the necessary training required to be successful. Students must have a job where they receive a paycheck and work at least 15 hours a week. Students will attend this class 5th hour and maybe release to go to work with permission from the high school.
Non-LCHS Students: This is a remote learning class. Work Place Experience is a 1 or 2 year class where junior or senior students share their experiences and work place happenings. Student get to explore various types careers and the necessary training required to be successful. Students must have a job where they receive a paycheck and work at least 15 hours a week. Students in this class maybe released early to go to work with permission from their high school.

Length of Class: Full year, can be taken for two years.
