1/23--Intro to Blood & Spatter Evidence!!
1/24--Completed first section of notes from power point below:
1/25--We viewed this film today. If you were absent, please make sure you print the attached video questions to the left.
1/28--We completed the rest of the notes today on Blood Evidence. You should now be able to complete both sets of questions that follow the notes in the student packet. I also handed out to each student a copy of the lab we will begin tomorrow. It is attached below. It is titled "Wheres the Victim Blood Spatter.doc"
Make sure you read through this lab in its entirety before you come to class tomorrow. Our point of emphasis this semester is to be ready and knowledgeable before all labs. Thanks!!!
1/29--We began the lab today--just completing Part 1--blood trailing. You should have all of your blood drops completed for all 4 trials and have measured each in order to calculate your averages in order to complete the data table in the lab.
1/30--We will complete Part 2 today, with the simulated "stabbing" to see the cast-off pattern from a "weapon". You will need to complete this data table as well.
1/31--We worked on our Reconstruction/hypothesis debriefing activity with the lab. Please see the attached document below titled " blood_spatter_debrief" for this. We will finish the rest of our blood spatter debrief by analyzing the stabbing patterns of two (2) other groups today.
2/1--We watched the following Forensic Files case study. Please make sure you complete the guided viewing questions attached if you did not do it in class!
2/4--We worked on the questions for the notes on BLood and Blood spatter evidence in the student packet, including blood spatter calculation practice.
2/7--We viewed the following case study and completed the questions that go along with it. Please print these from below if you are not present.
