Unit 05: Drugs & Toxicology

11/12--Intro. to drugs notes.

11/12-- Intro to drugs notes--we will finish these today! We also watched these 4 brief videos which demonstrated what presumptive testing is as well as some confirmatory tests using mass spectrometry!! Bar Flies video lab?

11/14-15--We will complete our Analysis of Over The Counter drugs these days. We only finished the pain relievers section these two days. We will pick up with the antacids and part 2 on Monday November 28.

11/16--We watched the film inserted below. Please make sure to print the guided viewing sheet to go with this video and complete it as you view the film:

11/26-- We finished the OTC lab, working on the second part today--antacids.

11/27-- We went over the OTC drug lab today. Please make sure you (or your partner ) have turned the Data Tables and Analysis questions in asap! We also began our Toxicology notes today. If you need to view, check out the attached PDF of them below.

11/28-29--Completed the rest of the Toxicology notes and began working in class on our Drug Review questions as well as the Toxicology review questions. You can find these in your Unit 5 student packet--attached below as a PDF in case you lost your copy. Daphnia drugs & toxins lab?

11/30--Case study--effects of toxins. Please make sure you have your questions for review in your packet completed so we can review on Monday for the test on Tuesday!

12/3--We completed review today--you will notice I posted the key to all questions and review. Please compare your answers to it and be ready for the test tomorrow!

12/4--Unit 5 Test Today--Drugs and Toxicology. Good Luck!

12/5--We received the review in an abbreviated format (see attached document on the semester exams tab with the title "....2page.pdf" for this copy. You will need to write your answers on a separate sheet of paper if you are going to use this copy.)

12/12--Bring semester exam review to work on today. We will also view the following case study. Make sure you turn in your guided viewing questions--a copy is attached below as well:

12/13--We will go over semester review today--make sure you have it complete by now so you may ask questions!

12/14; 12/17-19--Finals week. Test will be as follows:

12/14--3rd & 7th period; 12/17--2nd & 6th period; 12/18--1st & 5th period; 12/19--4th & 8th period.
