Schedule change procedures were implemented for the 24-25 school year. These procedures allow for consistency amongst school counselors, equitability for all 2,200 students, and time for school counselors to meet other needs of students. Please see schedule change procedures below. If you have specific questions or concerns, please reach out to your school counselor.
Requests must be made on the online schedule change request form only. Phone calls and emails will not be accepted. The schedule change request form can be found below.
Linn Mar High School Program of Studies : Use this link to look through course options
Students dropping a course after the add deadline for the quarter/semester MUST have a drop form filled out and signed by a parent before the course will be dropped. This form can be picked up at the Counseling office. The expectation is that the student will attend the class until it is removed from their schedule.
25-26 Important Schedule Change Dates
August 28th: Deadline to add classes for 1st Quarter
September 2nd: Deadline to add classes for 1st Semester
September 19th: Deadline to drop classes for 1st Quarter
September 26th: Deadline to declare credit/fail for 1st Quarter classes
October 17th: Deadline to drop classes for 1st Semester
October 23rd: Last Day of 1st Quarter
October 27th: 1st Day of 2nd Quarter
October 29th: Last day to add classes for 2nd Quarter
October 31st: Deadline to declare credit/fail for 1st Semester classes
November 21st: Deadline to drop classes for 2nd Quarter
December 5th: Deadline to declare credit/fail for 2nd Quarter classes
January 9th: Last Day of 2nd Quarter/1st Semester
January 13th: First Day of 2nd Semester/3rd Quarter
January 15th: Deadline to add classes for 3rd Quarter
January 20th: Deadline to add classes for 2nd Semester
February 6th: Deadline to drop classes for 3rd Quarter
February 13th: Deadline to declare credit/fail for 3rd Quarter classes
March 20th: Deadline to drop classes for 2nd Semester
March 26th: Last Day of 3rd Quarter
March 28th: Deadline to declare credit/fail for 2nd Semester classes
March 31st: First Day of 4th Quarter
April 2nd: Deadline to add classes for 4th Quarter
April 23rd: Deadline to drop 4th Quarter classes
April 30th: Deadline to declare credit/fail for 4th Quarter classes
June 4th: Last Day of 4th Quarter/2nd Semester
