Parent you will have to help your student with this page. Try to help your student make a list of things in your house that start with the letters of the alphabet.
Look around the house and try to find things that begin with each letter of the alphabet. The kitchen would be a place with packages that have the names to copy if you get stuck. Pay attention to the letters in the middle and see if they match the sounds for..."
A for apple🍏, E for eddy 👦, I for itchy or in, O for on, U for under.
You can list 1 word for each letter or more than 1 if you want. Here is the example
a. apple, ant, (I hope you don't have ants in your house), Aunt (I hope you do have this Aunt in your house!)
b. ball, or baby if there is a baby in your house
c. cat, can, cap, etc. Do you or a brother/sister have a baseball cap?
d. Dad! dust
e.
f.
g. go on to letter"z"
Continue all the way through to z.
What might be fun is to ask your mom or dad what the word is in another language if your family speaks more than one language. Speak up! Ask questions and explore words with them.
Good luck. ✨
