MyTRS

MyTRS is the online access to your personal TRS account. When registering, employees are prompted to create a unique User ID and password. MyTRS can be used to help plan for retirement, keep track of you personal account, and is available to eligible TRS Members and annuitants.

*New TRS members need to wait approximately 60 days from first work day to register for MyTRS. During this time, Legacy will provide TRS information needed to setup your TRS membership account.

ACTIVE EMPLOYEES

TRS is a state-managed retirement program designed to provide long-term financial security after your career in public education. Employee contributions are automatically deducted from each paycheck and combined with district and state contributions to build your retirement benefits over time.

This structured approach helps ensure a stable and reliable source of income for your future.

Participation in the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) is required for eligible employees under Texas law.
