ACC AFTER HIGH SCHOOL

For students who opt not to attend a 4-yr University immediately after high school, ACC is a great option.  There are several different campuses spread throughout the Austin area, which offer affordable classes to fit any schedule.  

The admission process is divided into Four Basic Steps.  Different steps may apply, so be sure to check Types of Student guide to see which path is right for you.


STEP 1: ORIENTATION 


The First Step online orientation gives essential information about attending ACC. Those who have previously enrolled in dual credit courses will need to meet with an Area of Study Advisor.



STEP 2: APPLICATION


Begin the application process by submitting the online application form for credit students.

Check your application status:

  • Make sure ACC received your documents by calling, emailing, or visiting the College Destination Center. Contact 512-223-7747 for more information. Your application must be complete before taking the advising and registration steps.

Plan, register, and pay:

  • Your final application step is to plan your classes for the upcoming semester, then register and pay online by the posted deadlines. See registration information.
