Registration is completed online by the STUDENT. This registration is separate from VRHS classes.
A student's VRHS schedule will show a VRHS class until the student has completely registered for ACC classes.
There are MULTIPLE steps you must take before you can register for ACC classes. Failure to meet deadlines will delay or, in some cases, prohibit students from registering for ACC Dual Credit classes.
NEW ACC STUDENTS

IMPORTANT: STUDENTS MUST BE TSI COMPLETE IN ORDER TO TAKE ACC COURSES. These are College Readiness Scores and can be met through the PSAT, SAT, ACT, and TSI. You can check on the chart linked in step 4. This is required by ACC and we can not go further with the steps until these are met.

Wait 24 hours to claim your ACC ID
ACTIVATE ACCOUNTS
Receive an email with your assigned ACCeID 24 hrs after submitting the application (applications are not processed on weekends/holidays)
Follow steps to activate your ACCeID, establish password, and set security questions
Once ACCeID is established, use this link to activate your ACCemail; if you get an error, call the ACC Help Desk at 512-223-4636; if your school device says "this account is not allowed to sign in within this network" - add a separate Chrome profile using your ACC gmail login information.
ACC ORIENTATION & CONTRACTS
The following contracts are required in order to participate in ACC Dual Credit:

Complete the orientation online- without completing the orientation, ACC holds will not be removed
Your ACC account will have a hold on it if you do not complete.

Please note: Your paperwork will not be processed if you do not schedule a meeting with Mrs. Lamb after you turn in your paperwork. Students MUST sign up for a conference in order to have hold removed and to take an ACC classes.
What happens after I meet with Mrs. Lamb?
The week or two before ACC registration opens, Mrs. Lamb will invite you to one of her orientation meetings to go over the classes and how to register.
Mrs. Lamb will go over information on how to officially enroll in the ACC classes. Additional information on how to register is located on step 6 below.
RETURNING ACC STUDENTS
Complete steps 5 semester to be eligible for registration.
Summer/Fall 2024 Returning Student Registration Request Form
After filling out this form, you will need to schedule a meeting with Mrs. Lamb to go over your information.
The ACC Registration Request Form can only be completed after TSI testing is complete.
Mrs. Lamb will submit the information form this form to ACC so the hold can be removed from your ACC account.
After the hold has been removed and registration is open, you will be able to enroll in ACC classes.
Filling out this form DOES NOT guarantee placement in an ACC class. Students are responsible for enrolling themselves.
NEW & RETURNING ACC STUDENTS

Plan the specific courses you wish to register for using ACC’s online Self-Service Student Planning tool. This tool is explained during advising sessions.

Note: Students who currently receive accommodations through a 504 or Individualized Education Plan (IEP) must work through the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) office at ACC to be approved for accommodations in the college courses. Please contact Mrs. Lamb for information on the SAS office.
