Reporting on Snapchat

Snapchat has not yet developed a system for reporting self-harm or suicide on their app. You must go to the Snapchat Support website and complete the form. 

1. Note the time, sender, and content of the Snap or Story- you can also take a screenshot but know that the sender will be notified of that

2. Go to the Snapchat Support website  

3. Select "Report a safety concern"

4. Choose the option most appropriate to your situation

5. Click on "It was a threat"

6.  Select the option for "A suicide threat"
