Correspondence, Distance & Virtual Courses (pg 23 of the LISD Course Catalog)

Students may take correspondence, distance, or virtual courses outside of the school day at their own expense. Credit toward state graduation requirements will be granted only if all of the following conditions are met:

The course is offered through UT High School, Texas Tech University High School, or the Texas Virtual School Network (TxVSN).
The course is approved before enrollment using the Coursework Approval Form.

Naviance

Naviance is a service that we use in the Counseling Office to track and analyze data about our students' college and career plans. All students may access their current GPA and class rank in their student profile.

Utilize all the tools Naviance provides, such as:

Create a four-year high school plan that fulfills your Graduation Plan and Endorsement Area
Get involved in the planning and advising process - Build a resume, complete web-based surveys, and manage timelines and deadlines for making decisions about colleges and careers.
Research colleges - Browse by location, majors, costs, size. Create personalized lists for further investigation.
Sign up for college visits - Find out which colleges are visiting our school and sign up to attend those sessions.

All students can log into their Naviance account through the LISD Launchpad.
