Student Course Selections for the 2024-2025 School Year
Counselors will be meeting with students during their English classes (please see schedule below) to assist in course selections for the 2024-2025 school year. Once students meet with counselors, they will be able to view their 2024-2025 Course Requests in HAC by clicking on the Classes icon and then selecting the Schedule tab. The 2024-2025 Course Requests will be found under the student's current schedule. The deadline to make changes to 2024-2025 Course Requests is MAY 1, 2024.
“Did you know….?” Scholarships are FREE money!
It is NEVER too early to apply for scholarships to help pay for a student’s education after high school. Our Glenn High School Counseling website has many resources on where to start looking for potential scholarship opportunities. Click HERE for more information.
Off-Campus PE Changes
The Off-Campus Physical Education (OCPE) guidelines have been updated for the 24-25 school year. These updates have been made to align Leander ISD with other districts in our area and around the state. Any student interested in applying for OCPE for the 24-25 school year must look over these guidelines and become familiar with the changes.
Applications are due May 31st, 2024. Apply now!

ABOUT GHS GRIZZLY Counseling
Welcome to the Grizzly Counseling Office! We're so glad you're here. Our office offers a wide range of services for our Grizzly families, and we are here to support you in any way that we can. Some of the specific services we offer are listed below, and please feel free to reach out if there is anything else we can do to help.
COLLEGE AND CARRER PLANNING
Each year we will review current goals to keep students on track for success.
ACADEMIC PLANNING
Counselors will meet with each student individually each year to review students' academic progress.
RESPONSIVE SERVICES
Students in crisis can seek support through the Counseling Office and counselors will work with families to provide the appropriate resources based on individual cases.
SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL SUPPORT
Whether it is a conflict with a friend or a death in the family, the counselors are here to support students and families as needed.
PROVIDING RESOURCES
The answer may not always be at school, so we can direct families and students to the resources that will meet their needs.
We encourage students to self-advocate prior to parent intervention. Parents can support their student by discussing what steps they should take to seek support for their needs. Please contact us with any questions that you may have.
