Off Period Applications

PLEASE ONLY COMPLETE AN APPLICATION IF YOU FULLY MEET THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW. 

Juniors in LISD are able to request 1 off period .

Seniors in LISD are able to request 2 off periods (1 per day).

Off periods are only offered during 1st, 5th, 4th, & 8th periods. Preferences will be considered but can't be guaranteed based on the master schedule.

This privilege is granted to students who meet the following expectations:

• On track for completing coursework/credits for a 26 credit graduation plan

• Have met the passing standards on all required EOC Tests

• Cannot have credits withheld due to hours owed Credits witheld will have an * next to the grade on a student's transcript

• On track to be CCMR ready

• NOTE: If ACC courses are taken on the GHS campus, the student is not eligible for Early Release due to state attendance policies.
