Les Kadar submitted the entry prior to the Tornado. Paul Thomas went to verify the entry and took a photograph after the Tornado. Here are his comments:
"Just for interest, I was just running thru the slide show and noticed that for #109 Catalpa, Les Kadar submitted a photo of the whole tree prior to the storm and I submitted one of after. They are almost the exact same perspective of before and after, and really shows the damage done by the tornado. They both have wires in the shot, just below the leaf line.The tree removal people told them it was a twisting fracture and the rope is the only thing holding the main trunk from collapsing, in my photo."
