TTU

  • Check out our new scholarship opportunities here: tntech.edu/freshmenscholarships. This change however, does not affect any important deadlines. As always, students must be admitted before they can apply for scholarships and housing. The housing application opened on Monday October 4th and the scholarship application is open now. The deadline for the scholarship application is December 15th, but students have until January 15th to get any supporting documents turned in (ex: ACT score, letters of recommendation. Etc.). This means students can take the December ACT and use that score for scholarships as long as we have it by January 15.

  • We’ve created a specific code for your students to waive our $25 application fee. The code is APPLYTN and it will work any time, so feel free to pass this along to students even after this week.

  • Attend Tuition-FREE

Lee University is one of the least expensive private colleges in the state of Tennessee, which means high-need students who qualify for HOPE can attend Lee tuition-free! All they need to do is send their FAFSA to us and if they are PELL and TSAA grant eligible then Lee will cover the rest of their tuition with a university grant or scholarship. The only responsibility that would fall on the student would be room and board, which can be covered with other aid or loans. Here’s an example of a potential aid package:

$5,000 TN Hope w/ Aspire

$4,000 TN Student Assistance Award

$6,500 Pell Grant

$5,000 LeeU Grant and/or Merit Scholarship

$20,500 Total Gift Aid (No Loans)

*Lee’s tuition for 2020-2021 is $19,540 per year

Attain a Merit Scholarship

Along with need-based aid, we offer merit scholarships based on ACT or SAT scores. These are automatic awards as they only need to send us their scores to be eligible. We made big changes to these last year as our they are all now 4-year awards. Our merit scholarships for 2020-2021 are:

Dean Scholarship

· $5,000 per year

· 24-27 ACT Composite (1160-1300 Total SAT)
