  • UTK College of Veterinary Medicine Summer Experience Program To apply a student must: be a legal resident of the State of Tennessee and enrolled in a Tennessee high school or home schooled, be a current high school junior or senior at the time of the application submission, be at least 16 years of age by June 1, 2020, have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, be available for full time employment (40 hours/ week) between June 7 - July 16, 2021, have not previously participated in the Veterinary Summer Experience Program. Must submit an application, an official high school transcript, and three reference letters. Must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. TBD (March), 2019.   • Summer Bridge Program- Open to TN Promise Students who scored below a 19 on any section of the ACT and who may not have tested into college level courses on the ACT and would like to begin on a more college-ready level in the fall. A free three week program designed to help students start on a more college ready level. Will run Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. www.tnachieves.org

  • Tickle College of Engineering at the University of TN in Knoxville, TN will host engineering Day is TBA. This will be virtual for high school students. Please visit https://tickle.utk.edu/engineers-day/ for program information, dates and deadlines. Link to register is HERE

  • ARC/ORNL 2021 Summer STEM Programs in Oak Ridge, TN TBA for high schoolers and July TBD for middle schoolers. Student will receive transportation to attend the programs and full room and board.www.arc.gov/summerSTEM

  • UA Early College-Seniors eligible for UAEC through summer after graduation. Application opens on February 1, 2021 (includes letter of recommendation). Deadline to apply is Summer 1 term: May 29-June 28 deadline is May 11. Summer 2 term: July 5- August 3 deadline is June 18. Live in a residence hall on campus, take classes with other college students, etc. www.uaearlycollege.ua.edu

  • Duke Summer Session for High School Students’ programs is now available! Choose from three transformative programs next summer:Summer College – A four-week, credit-bearing program for students currently in 10th – 12th grade in which they take undergraduate-level courses. Summer Academy – A three-week program for students currently in 9th – 12th grade in which they take a certificate course. Accelerated STEM Academy – A one-week, STEM-based program for students currently in 9th – 12th grade that consists of a variety of hands-on labs, tours of Duke’s research facilities, faculty lectures, and workshops.

  • Pellissippi Preview: Learn about Pellissippi's career and transfer degrees, and student support services. Tour the campus and learn about the admissions process.   • UTK Big Orange Preview on either Saturday, September 25 or Saturday, October 30! This event is our fall open house, and we've included a special session exclusively for students interested in our Honors & Scholars programs.

  • TTU has a new, exciting, and in-person recruitment event hosted by Tennessee Tech's Office of Admissions partnered with Multicultural Affairs - Race to Tech: Diverse by Design. Race to Tech is an awesome opportunity for minority students and their families to experience what it's like to be a Golden Eagle. Prospective students will be able to speak with current Tech students about their college experiences, explore programs, and meet with professors from academic departments.   • Christian College Fair: Thursday, October 7, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Grace Christian Academy.   • UTC On-campus event called Tour+, begins this Friday (Sept. 10) and will happen again on Sept. 17, Sept. 24, Oct. 1 & Oct. 22nd. Tour plus allows students to receive a campus tour, have lunch on campus and meet with an academic department representative. Additionally, students who have previously submitted the application online and bring their admissions documents (transcript & ACT/SAT scores or recommendation for test optional) will receive an admissions decision on the spot! If you want to bring your transcript or recommendation, come by the Counseling Office!   • "Meet Maryville" Open House October 30 Our final in-person 'Meet Maryville' event of the fall is coming up on October 30th. The ultimate of all visit options, your students will get to meet our staff, have any and all questions answered, and tour and explore Maryville College's campus, where they will see the places they will eat, sleep, learn and play in one of the country's oldest colleges.
