Communication is an important part to any band program. I encourage positive communication and am willing to discuss any aspect of a student’s progress in band with his/her guardians.

I will be communicating throughout the year with you and your child in the following ways:
GROUP E-MAIL- I will be sending home many updates and communications via my e-mail throughout the year. This is the main form of communication. Please make sure that the following e-mail address is marked safe, and does not end up in your SPAM folder; lkulick@jefftwp.org.
JTMS BAND WEBSITE- There is a Google Calendar and other resources important to all involved in the JTMS Bands. https://sites.google.com/a/jefftwp.org/lkulick
GOOGLE CLASSROOM-All bands will have their own Google Classroom that I will have important information on, including concert dates, announcements, any assignments, and other important documents that must be taken home.
REMIND APP- For those who are signed-up for Select Band, Jazz Band, or Tri-M Music Honor Society. This is a safe, secure, message based APP that I will use to send out quick reminders.
Students are also encouraged to communicate with the director before concerns become issues. Ideally they should do this in person at an appropriate time, one on one. If that is not possible, then the use of e-mail, Google Classroom, or the Remind App is appropriate.
Again, clarification and solid communication will keep everything running smoothly throughout the entire year. Throughout the year, I will be sending quite a bit of information home in the form of letters. Please make every effort to read this information carefully, check calendars often and keep me informed of any conflicts. The sooner I know of a situation, the more options we have in solving problems.
